Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
